Kim's bedroom resembled a bombsite, clothes on the floor, make-up everywhere, cups and glasses she hadn't taken down and an unmade bed. By the time I left the house the bedroom was in order, clothes had been put away, make-up had been tidied and cups and glasses taken downstairs - "Job done, perfect bedroom" - but when I went back the following week it was back to a bombsite again.
My lasting memories of Kim will be Madonna posters, music and a fun loving girl.
